AON's Q2 net income decreased by 93% y-o-y to USD 58 million

The risk and insurance brokerage services provider AON reported a net income of USD 58 million for Q2 2018, compared to USD 778 million, for the prior year quarter, while total revenue increased by 10% to USD 2.56 billion during Q2 2017 (USD 2.33 billion).

By divisions, Commercial Risk Solutions' total revenue totaled USD 1.16 billion, while Reinsurance Solutions revenue was USD 3380 million.

In case of the other three divisions (Retirement Solutions, Health Solutions and Data & Analytic Services) the same indicator amounted to USD 431 million, USD 309 million and USD 277 million.

Total operating expenses in the second quarter increased to USD 2.58 billion (vs. USD 2.49 billion), of which USD 1.49 billion related to Compensation and benefits.
