AZERBAIJAN: Compulsory Insurance Bureau summed up half year claims' results

Compulsory Insurance Bureau of Azerbaijan summed up half year results in terms of the total number of insurance events and paid claims, as informed on the official website of the Bureau.

In January-June 2018 total amount of claims, paid by the Bureau, to citizens (or their family members), who got health injuries by motor vehicles, amounted to AZN 329 325*. Of them AZN 233 750 were paid in relation to events, which resulted in the death of the wounded; AZN 16 200 were paid due to causing bodily harm; AZN 53 750 were paid for less serious bodily injuries; AZN 17 500 were paid for cases of registration of disability; and AZN 8125 were paid for trivial injuries.

For the first six months the Bureau processed 181 applications on compensation payment and approved 126 of them.
