Agroinsurance Conference: focus on the technical aspects of agroinsurance against drought and livestock disease

The "Agricultural Insurance, Reinsurance and Brokerage in the CIS, Europe and Asia" Conference will discuss the technical aspects and characteristic features of drought and livestock disease insurance programs. Representatives of Munich Re and TARSIM will share their own first-hand experience in drought crop insurance.

The conference, which will take place on April 16-18, 2018 in Belgrade, Serbia, will also include presentations on the application of agroinsurance techniques in the banking industry. Experts will discuss insurance solutions supplied by banks for farmers in Serbia and the Czech Republic. Speakers from Generali Osiguranje and AON will focus on the technical aspects and challenges of delivering rural finance and agroinsurance products in banking, interaction between banks and insurance companies, and marketing approaches to implementing agricultural insurance and finance programs. 

More than 60 international agroinsurance experts from over 20 countries have confirmed their attendance. The event is receiving a great deal of attention from leading global reinsurance and insurance firms, insurance brokers and consulting agencies, market regulators, and large financial institutions.
