Chris PARSONS to join TRUST Re's Board of Directors

Reinsurer TRUST Re announced the appointment of Professor Chris PARSONS as an independent non-executive Director for a full 3-year term.

"We are proud to welcome Professor PARSONS to our Board of Directors; he brings with him a wealth of experience in a broad range of fields including insurance, law and risk management. We are confident that he will add value and that TRUST Re will benefit from his insights and counsel", said Kamel ABUNAHL, Chairman of the Board of Directors, TRUST Re.

Chris PARSONS, a British Citizen, is a full Professor in Insurance at Cass Business School, City University of London. He has a PhD in insurance studies from City University together with degrees in the arts and in law. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Insurance Practitioner.

Furthermore, Professor Chris Parsons is a member of the Company's Audit and Risk Committees.

Chris PARSONS began his insurance career with the GRE (now Axa) Group and has engaged continuously with the insurance industry for many years, as a practitioner, researcher, consultant and writer. He is the author of two books and many research reports and scientific papers in the fields of insurance, law and risk management. Chris PARSONS is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars; he is the recipient of several national and international prizes for research in the fields of risk and insurance, and for teaching the subjects at Master's degree level.
