Cristian IONESCU is the next President of Directorate of the Romanian ASIROM VIG

Starting July 1, 2018, the President of Directorate at position of ASIROM VIG (Romania) will be taken over by Cristian IONESCU. He will replace Mr. Juraj LELKES whose mandate ends on June 30, 2018.

LELKES President's mandate meant for ASIROM a period of organizational transformation, the consolidation of a strong team and profitable growth.

"In the three years of my term as President of the ASIROM Directorate I had the opportunity to lead a company with tradition in the Romanian market, with dedicated employees and a vision for progress and innovation. I am glad that together we have been able to consolidate the potential of ASIROM, raising its market share and the company profitability, "said Juraj LELKES

Cristian IONESCU joined ASIROM at the beginning of this year as Member of the Executive Board. With more than 17 years of experience in the field of insurance and management, he served as Chief Financial Officer and subsequently Deputy General Manager.

"The position of ASIROM's President is a responsibility and a challenge. ASIROM's mission is to develop the best solutions for its customers through innovative products and services," says Cristian IONESCU.

ASIROM VIG is one of the most important insurance companies on the market, with more than 25 years of experience in Romania and a market share of almost 10% at the end of 2017. The company has a national network of 138 agencies, 1,900 active agents and over 300 external partners.
