JLT appointed AIG's former President Global Aerospace & Marine Joe TROTTI as Global Practice Head of Aviation

Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group announced the appointment of AIG's former President Global Aerospace & Marine Joe TROTTI as part of its new Global Specialty Leadership team and Global Specialty Executive.

"This appointment follows JLT's announcement on January 10th 2018 that it is bringing together all of its insurance broking activities under the JLT Specialty banner as it continues on its mission to become the leading global specialist risk adviser and broker. The appointment of Joe TROTTI strengthens the leadership of a core JLT Specialty practice, with Joe TROTTI responsible for coordinating its global aviation capabilities and accelerating their development", as the re/insurance broker announced in a statement.

Joe TROTTI will report to Lucy CLARKE, JLT's newly appointed Global Specialty CEO. One of Joe TROTTI's key roles in the leadership team will be Global Practice Head of Aviation.

Joe TROTTI joins JLT from AIG Europe, where he has held various senior management positions over many years, most recently as Head of Property & Specialty Risk and Head of UK Wholesale and previously President Global Aerospace & Marine at AIG.

Joe TROTTI said: "I'm very excited to be joining JLT and such a talented team. The commitment, culture and client focus is second to none. I'm really honoured to have the opportunity to work with an industry leading aviation team as we continue to expand and invest in the business. Baden Baden Headlines 3: CEE insurance markets are attractive for reinsurers

Central and Eastern Europe insurance markets are an important source of business for Lloyds, total premium income from this region increasing by EUR 64 million since 2010, pointed out the Lloyd's representative in a seminar dedicated to CEE insurance markets: "We are seeing strong growth from Czech Rep, Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine.
