Mustafa ABBASBEYLI elected Chairman of the Azerbaijan Insurers Association

Mustafa ABBASBEYLI was appointed as the new Chairman of the Azerbaijan Insurers Association, the APA news agency has said. The decision was made during a general meeting of the founders of the association.

Mustafa ABBASBEYLI is replacing the former chairmen of the association, Orkhan BAYRAMOV, who left his position in 2017. After his departure, the interim was assured for about one year by Vugar ALIYEV.

ABBASBEYLI has already been working in the Association since 2008. His career started within Standard Insurance JSC, company for which he performed, between 2004 and 2014 several management functions related to the claims activity. Between 2010 and 2014 he served as Member of the Board of Directors.

Mustafa ABBASBEYLI has been a member of the Bar Association of Azerbaijan since 2007, a member of the Legal Committee of the Association of Azerbaijani Insurers in 2008-2010 and chairman of the committee in 2010-2014. He is a member of the International Association of Lawyers since 2010. Currently he is CEO of the Caspian European Club and Group CEO of the Beyli Group.

ABBASBEYLI graduated in 2010 from the law faculty of Khazar University, holds Master Degree in Private Law of the Ankara University and has a PhD in Law of the National Academy of Science of Azerbaijan Republic and an EdD in Economics of the Azerbaijan State Economic University.
