Pawel STOPCZYNSKI appointed as a new member in the TUW PZUW board

The Supervisory Board of TUW PZUW decided to strengthen the company's Management Board by appointing Pawel STOPCZYNSKI as member, as of 27 June 2018. He will be responsible for the Compliance area, the Legal Area and the Board Office.

Pawel STOPCZYNSKI is a graduate of the Law Faculty at the University of Bialystok and PhD studies at the Collegium of Management and Finance at the Warsaw School of Economics. He completed the legal internship training with the title of legal advisor.

He has been associated with the PZU Group since 2016. Until June 2018, he held the position of Director of the Corporate Supervision Office in the PZU Group. During this time, he developed a new model of corporate governance and a new standard of cooperation between the PZU Group entities. He was also responsible for the coordination of work related to the implementation of policies regulating the management principles of individual areas of the Group's operations.

He gained professional experience at the Ministry of the Treasury, where he was responsible for tasks related to ownership supervision and implementation of projects for consolidation and organizational transformation of entities from various sectors of the economy.

Since 2001, he has been a member of supervisory boards in commercial law companies. In the years 2016-2018 he was a member of the supervisory board of TUW PZUW.

Following this nomination, the TUW PZUW's Board will have the following composition:
