Gennady GALPERIN was elected to the position of CEO by the Board of Directors of the company, effective July 20, 2019, ASN reported.

According to the Chairman of ROSGOSSTRAKH's Board of Directors, Mikhail ZADORNOV, "The Board of Directors has chosen Gennady GALPERIN after a thorough analysis of the insurance market. GALPERIN is a true professional, able to bring large companies to a leading position", he said.

Gennady GALPERIN has worked for the company since 2002, where until 2008 he headed the financial unit, regional development and operations. From March 2011 to May 2019 he was the head of VTB Insurance.

As the insurer announced previously, the company intends to take the leading market position by 2021, the centenary of ROSGOSSTRAKH. The insurer currently ranks 7^th in terms of GWP after in 1Q2019.
