RUSSIA: SBERBANK Life Insurance in August paid RUB 411 million to clients

In August 2018, SBERBANK Life Insurance paid RUB 411 million* to its clients for 4,054 events. The biggest claim paid amounted to RUB 5.5 million, as confirmed by the insurer's press office.

Other big paid claims include RUB 4.1 million (due to death as the result of a car accident), RUB 4.6 million (due to a client's disability confirmation). The biggest claim in the amount of RUB 5.5 million was paid for the investment life insurance program due to a client's death as the result of illness.

SBERBANK Life Insurance is the leader in Russian life insurance and is the second biggest company in the general insurance rating of Russia. The insurer's rating under RAEX ("Expert RA") is ruAAA.
