Within the framework of XVI International Conference of the All-Russian Insurance Association President of the National Association of Agriculture Insurers (NAAI) Korney BIJDOV and President of the National Association of agriculture mutual insurance of Italy ASNACODI, Albano AGABITI, signed a cooperation agreement, informed the Agency of insurance news (ASN).

"NAAI and ASNACODI agreed upon exchange of experience and innovations in agricultural risk management for income protection of agricultural producers. The agroinsurance system, existing in our country today, in general meets the global practice. At the same time, it lacks flexibility to increase demand for agroinsurance products by agricultural producers of different business volume. Thanks to the cooperation with ASNACODI the Russian agroinsurance industry may use experience of our Italian colleagues", said Korney BIJDOV.

ASNACODI unites 56 mutual funds providing services on insurance against climate and other risks to 98% of agricultural producers in Italy. The Association is a member of the Confederation of professional associations of agricultural producers of EU COPA-COGECA, which in its turn unites 11 million of agricultural producers. Total agroinsurance premiums with state support in Italy in 2017 amounted to EUR 374 million.
