The 4th International Conference "Agricultural Insurance, Reinsurance and Brokerage in the CIS, Europe and Asia" will gather delegats from 17 countries

The 4th International Conference "Agricultural Insurance, Reinsurance and Brokerage in the CIS, Europe and Asia" will take place in Belgrade, Serbia on April 16-18, 2018.

The conference will focus on technical aspects of agroinsurance, various approaches to developing state-of-the-art insurance products and managing risk portfolios, and a variety of other topics. A special emphasis will be placed on discussing the potential uses of innovative technologies in agroinsurance, such as drones and satellites.

One of our confirmed speakers is Mr. Omri KRIKEB, Director of Business Development of AgriTask, an Israeli company offering solutions for integrating satellite imagery, weather data and other agronomic technologies into a Farmers Intelligence Ecosystem. In his presentation Mr. KRIKEB will speak about the possibilities of using such solutions in agroinsurance.

Mr. Victor YERMAK, CEO of Skyglyph (Bulgaria), will be another keynote presenter at the conference. Skyglyph has been quite successful in implementing a comprehensive platform designed for the collection and analysis of drone survey data. Mr. YERMAK will share a real-life experience in the application of drones for crop monitoring and loss adjustment in Central and Eastern Europe.

As of the 12th of February, delegates from more than 17 countries have confirmed their attendance. Most participants will come from insurance and reinsurance organizations, brokerage firms and consulting companies. The conference is garnering a lot of attention from financial market regulators, public officials representing government agencies operating in the sphere of agroinsurance, state-owned and private banks, and other organizations.
