UZBEKISTAN: O'zbekinvest Hayot year paid claims worth UZS 34.2 billion in 1H2018

Based on the first half year results paid claims of O'zbekinvest Hayot exceeded UZS 34.2 billion* (up by 96.3% compared to the same period last year).

Total number of claims for the first 6 months amounted to 5.19 thousand, from that number settled claims amounted to 5.17 thousand. In terms of insurance types the share of paid claims in voluntary classes reached 96.3% and in compulsory ones - 3.7%. The insurer's claims and premiums ratio for the first half year exceeded 71.8%.

O'zbekinvest Hayot was established in 2003. Based on Q1 result of 2018 the insurer had the leading positions in paid claims in the local market.
