TAS Insurance group, one of TOP-5 insurance companies of Ukraine, reported that the group's GWP reached UAH 1.81 billion (~EUR 68.5 million) in 2019, which is 30.8% more y-o-y, Forinsurer writes.

The prevailing class in the insurer's portfolio was MTPL (33.3% GWP share), its GWP volume amounting to UAH 604.5 million, 25.6% more y-o-y. The second largest class in company's portfolio was Green Card (UAH 367.41 million), the third place being held by Motor Hull (UAH 354.35 million).

Besides motor classes, the insurer also generated a significant GWP amount on voluntary health insurance (UAH 154 million) and property insurance (UAH 75.18 million).

In 2019, total paid claims of the group demonstrated rather impressive growth - by 33.3% y-o-y, to UAH 726.94 million. Of this amount, about 39% of all paid claims fell on the leading class from the company's portfolio - MTPL.
