STATISTICS: Kosovo H1 insurers' profits more than doubled to almost EUR 6 million

Kosovo's active 12 insurers reported an aggregate net profit of EUR 5.9 million at the end of June 2023 vs. EUR 2.5 million a year before, according to data provided by the Central Bank (CBK). At the same time, the total insurers' assets increased to EUR 294.2 million, from EUR 253.6 million a year earlier.










Kosovo insurers profits more than doubled

Kosovo insurers reported FY2021 aggregate net profit of EUR 8.7 million, more than double as compared to a year earlier when the same indicator was EUR 4.1 million, Central Bank monthly figures showed.



Kosovo insurers posted 9 months profits of EUR 6 m

Kosovo insurers posted a net profit of EUR 5.9 million in the nine months through September 2021, EUR 1 million more compared to a year earlier, Central Bank monthly figures showed.

STATISTICS: Kosovo insurers posted H1 2021 net profit of EUR 1.5 million

Kosovo active 13 insurers reported aggregate net profit of EUR 1.5 million at the end of June 2021, as compared with a market net profit of EUR 4.9 million at end of H1 2020, according to data provided by the Central Bank (CBK). At the same time, the total assets held by Kosovo insurance companies increased to EUR 230 million, from EUR 208.6 million a year earlier.
