Belarusian, British insurance associations agree on cooperation

The Belarusian and British insurance associations have agreed on cooperation. The agreement was reached during a visit of representatives of Belarusian insurance organizations to London on 2-7 November, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry.

The heads of the Belarusian Association of Insurers and the Association of British Insurers agreed on cooperation in sharing information and joint organization of training seminars.

While in London, the Belarusian delegation met with representatives of the UK biggest insurance companies (Lloyds, Generali). Representatives of the Belarusian organizations attended training seminars to learn about modern trends in the development of the global insurance market.

The visit was organized by the Embassy of Belarus to the UK jointly with the Belarusian Association of Insurers. The Belarusian delegation comprised heads of insurance companies such as the Belarusian National Reinsurance Company, Promtransinvest, Belneftestrakh, Belcoopstrakh, Stravita and Task.
