The largest and most important annual meeting of insurers will again take place in Opatija this year, on May 8-10, at the Amadria Park Grand Hotel 4, Opatija, Cvideta, the Croatian Insurance Bureau announced.

Hundreds of experts from insurance and reinsurance industry, regulators, supervisors, and other financial institutions of the national, regional, and European levels will gather at the largest regional conference - Croatian Insurance Days 2024.

The largest regional gathering of insurance experts, in addition to presenting and commenting on current topics related to the condition and latest events on the Croatian and European insurance market, brings a series of expert presentations and panel discussions with many interesting speakers and panelists who will touch on key topics and challenges faced by the insurance industry in Croatia and beyond. In addition to increasingly frequent and changing climate patterns, participants will have the opportunity to take a deeper look at how the current macroeconomic situation affects insurance solutions for society and the economy.

This year's conference also provides an overview of legislative initiatives of the European Union relevant to the insurance industry, with an emphasis on their implementation on the regional insurance market. On the last day of the conference, the participants will look at other topics in claims processing.
