12 February 2020 —
The Russian financial ombudsman service was included into the International Network of Financial Services Ombudsman Schemes. This decision was made at the meeting of the Organization's Committee, as ASN reports with reference to the Chief Financial Ombudsman, Yuri VORONIN.

The International Association of Financial Ombudsmen facilitates the interaction of financial ombudsmen at international level for experience exchange. As of now, 60 financial institutions from 40 countries are full members of the Association.

"Affiliation with the Association will expand our international cooperation allowing us to adopt the best international practices for protection of rights of financial services consumers. I'm confident that it will be very interesting for our foreign colleagues as well to learn about the Russian financial ombudsman practice and the specifics of our work", VORONIN said.
